Job Description:

Genie Healthcare is looking for an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) for a 13 week assignment at a Long Term Care facility located in Sparks, NV.*Shift:* 6am-6:30pm (Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday schedule)*Duration:* 13 weeks*Pay:*$44/hr (taxed + nontaxed)$1,584 weekly gross based on 36 hours*Responsibilities:*- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or physician- Provide direct patient care.- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations- Assist with laboratory testing and specimen collection as needed- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments*Skills:*- Current LPN license in NV- Proficient in administering medications and treatments accurately- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient careJob Types: Contract, Travel nursingPay: Up to $44.00 per hourExpected hours: 36 per weekMedical specialties:* GeriatricsPhysical setting:* Long term care* Nursing homeStandard shift:* Day shiftWeekly schedule:* 3x12* Every weekendWork Location: In personby Jobble
