              • Serves as the supervisory auditor over multiple mobilecontractors.
              • Oversees the planning and performance of Department of Defensecontract audit work and may support non-DoD agencies and certainforeign governments.
              • Provides accounting and financial advisory services regardingcontracts.
              • Provides support for accomplishment of the agency strategicplan. Emphasizes DCAA's vision and goals to FAO staff.
              • Supervises a number of audit teams lead by supervisory auditorsas well as an administrative staff led by an administrativesupervisor.
              • Promotes teamwork and cooperation within the office. Fosterseffective relationships with contractor representatives andgovernment officials.
              • Orchestrates effective accomplishment of the audit program plan,managing workforce and workload imbalances.
              • Reviews audit reports and working papers to ensure that thereports are timely, responsive and comply with GenerallyAccepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and agencystandards.

Specialized experience must bedocumented in your resume. Specialized experience includes servingas a supervisory auditor responsible for planning, organizing anddirecting audit team work; conducting quality assurance review ofauditor work papers and reports, and presenting review results toupper management; providing technical staff assistance and guidanceto field audit offices in a variety of complex and highly technicalaudit program areas; planning and conducting technical, complex andcomprehensive audits demonstrating an expert knowledge of auditstandards.Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaidexperience, including volunteer work done through National Serviceprograms (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations(e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community,student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies,knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training andexperience that translates to paid employment. Level3 certification must normally be completed within two years of theselectee's employment start date.Initial Probationary Period: You will be required to serve aninitial probationary period of 2 years if one has not already beencompleted. You will be required to serve a supervisory/managerialprobationary period of 1 year unless one has previously beencompleted.Selective Service: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registeredor exempt from Selective Service (see www.sss.gov).Mobility Agreement: All DCAA auditors must sign a mobilityagreement. This agreement may require you to be reassigned everyfive to seven years.Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to aSingle Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). You must be able toobtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secretlevel.Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information,you will be subject to random drug testing.Performance Appraisal: If you are a current Federal employee,you must be rated fully successful or higher on your currentperformance rating to be eligible for promotion.
