Job Description:
Job Description Office Assistant -- Know and be familiar with
the project responsibilities, scope of work to client, and
Starbrook contractual obligations on projects, know and continually
grow in product knowledge, expedite and coordinate the day to day
operations with efficiency and professionalism, show problem
solving skills and represent the company well, representing
Starbrook---s professionalism and integrity, prompt, punctual and
consistent attendance, and participation to overall Starbrook needs
-- Assist in managing the goals, resources and existing procedures
for accounting and cash flow -- Assist in managing cash flow for
the company including AR, invoice creation, and AP -- Assist in
managing and maintain AR working with and supporting Project
Managers to ensure timely billings and payments -- Assist in
managing AP and proper project accounting -- Assist in producing
quarterly financials, coordinate any 3rd party reviews -- Assist in
managing procedures between operations and field to efficiently
transfer invoices, subcontractor billings, vendor statements,
project receipts and other project related expenses -- Assist in
managing and maintaining up to date and accurate cash and credit
card accounts, including reconciling monthly statements with
QuickBooks Enterprise -- Assist in maintaining accurate financial
records in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
(GAAP) -- Assist in managing process and work flow of waivers,
subcontracts, purchase orders, proof of insurance and other project
related documents -- Assist in managing check cutting procedure or
bank transfers, and approve all checks, transfers and/or wires
ensure all reporting to State and Federal governments are accurate
and timely -- Assist in tracking and ensure all annual licenses,
business fees, etc are paid timely and accurately -- Assist in
providing input on business systems and procedures, and ensure
their incorporation to the Procedures Manual, Employee Handbook and
other corporate procedure or manual documents -- Assist CEO and
Sales Manager in special projects as directed -- Assist in overall
office operations, support and systems, plus help with start up
procedures and operations Construction Office Experience Preferred
