Job Description Job Description Reno Staffing is looking for an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist for a Automotive Manufacturer in the North Valleys area! This is a great chance to build hands-on experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment—right as the EV industry is booming. Pay: $24 DOE Location: North Valleys, 89506. Summary: This role supports daily purchasing and logistics—sending RFQs, placing orders, tracking shipments, and keeping data accurate and organized. The candidate will work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve basic issues while also handling light administrative tasks like scheduling meetings and maintaining records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Supply Chain, Logistics & Data Management Assist in sourcing, sending RFQs, placing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and following up with suppliers. Coordinate shipments and ensure materials arrive on time. Maintain and update purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and shipment tracking in company databases. Collect, organize, and analyze supply chain data to support reporting and decision-making. Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across purchasing, logistics, and inventory management. Work with internal teams to resolve basic supply, delivery or invoice issues. Administrative Support Organize and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas and taking notes. Maintain records of purchasing and logistics transactions with a focus on data accuracy and organization. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams as needed. At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined above. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain support (Experience with MRO purchasing in a manufacturing setup is a plus). Proficiency in data management, reporting, and analysis using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar tools. Strong attention to detail, high sense of urgency and ability to self-manage. Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Administration experience is a plus. An updated resume and interview are required to be considered for this position.
