Job Description Job Description The Pool Technician is
responsible for maintaining the Peppermill swimming pools and hot
tubs. Duties: Maintain plumbing, basic electrical, chemicals,
pumps, gauges, sensors and pool filtering systems. Order parts and
supplies as needed for pool maintenance. Maintain work areas in a
clean, neat, and hazard-free condition. Work safely and respond to
hazards immediately, promptly reporting safety concerns to
management. Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.
Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school
diploma, G.E.D. or trade school equivalent required. Previous
experience in pool maintenance preferred. State or County Pool
Certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work
on your feet for extended periods. Organized, flexible, and able to
handle multiple priorities. Understand and follow written and
verbal directions in English.
