As a Security Officer – Warehouse Patrol - Full Time in Fernley, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout the facility. Your presence will help to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This is a primarily driving post, where you will be responsible for monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional demeanor. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites - Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education - Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams - Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service - Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. - Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. - Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings according to site protocols. - Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location. - Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members. - Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures. What We’re Looking For: - Availability across various days and shifts - Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments - A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company - Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. - Customer service experience is preferred. - A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
