Job Description:
Tesla, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance
Technician to join our innovative team in the pursuit of advancing
the transition to sustainable energy. This role is crucial for
ensuring the reliability and operational efficiency of equipment
used in the production of Tesla?s electric vehicles and energy
storage products. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in
maintaining high-tech, state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and
solving complex problems in a dynamic work environment. Perform
routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment to
ensure optimal operation and reduce downtime. Diagnose and repair
electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic controller (PLC)
issues on various production machinery. Collaborate closely with
production teams to implement improvements and modifications to
equipment to enhance performance and efficiency. Document
maintenance procedures and outcomes, maintaining clear and precise
records for compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner, providing fast
and effective solutions to keep production on schedule. Participate
in safety training and adhere to all safety regulations and
procedures to uphold Tesla?s high standards of workplace safety.
Strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical repair.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and
blueprints. Ability to program and troubleshoot PLC systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong
communication and teamwork abilities, able to collaborate
effectively with various departments.
