As a Test Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform standard testing processes on a variety of our equipment and analyze the results. You'll be responsible for performing test and fault isolation on our systems and equipment to ensure conformance with our product specifications. You'll work closely with engineering teams and provide recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks, or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Qualifications You Must Have: Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 4 years of relevant experience A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications Thorough understanding of test concepts and techniques Progressive experience with standard laboratory test, calibration and other measurement equipment Qualifications We Prefer: Associate's degree with a focus on Electronics Familiarity with MIL Standard 810 Test Standards Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military At Sierra Nevada Company, LLC (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
