Job Description FUNCTION: Provide direct and general supervision to casino staff to ensure effective and efficient gaming operations. Create and ensure front line team members are providing an entertaining, fun and energetic atmosphere. Maintain and develop relationships among guests. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Supervises table games staff, assists in monitoring gaming areas and Casino floor ensuring all gaming rules and regulations are consistently adhered to and in accordance with Federal, State, Local requirements. 2.Safeguard company assets. 3.Assist with establishing and upholding department standards, guidelines and objectives. 4.Monitor table games performance and perform data analysis as appropriate for optimizing profitability and reducing costs. 5.In accordance with regulatory approval issue credit to guests, make payments, set limits, and control monies related to table games operations within the limits of internal controls. 6.Grant comps to guests per established guidelines. 7.Meet with guests to address in a calm and professional manner. 8.Maintain administrative process such as budgeting and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas. 9.Hire, coach and train Table Games team members leading them in such a manner as to maintain a positive team member relations culture. 10.Monitor staffing levels to ensure games are adequately staffed for each shift, arrange team member table rotations and breaks. 11.Complete and meet with team members to discuss topics such as observations, appraisals and disciplinary action in a timely and professional manner. 12.Familiar with Nevada State Gaming Regulations, maintain a thorough understanding of Table Games accounting procedures and administrative tasks such as fills, credits, marker transactions and responsibilities regarding the proper administration of Title 31. 13.Address guest concerns and or complaints in a timely and professional manner 14.Regular predictable attendance is required. 15.Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state and federal regulations. 16.Communicate effectively with all levels of the Nugget team and guests. 17.Perform work in a safe manner and maintain a safe environment for team member and guests. 18.Immediately report unsafe conditions and team member or guest incidents to a member of the management team or Security. 19.Maintain a positive and professional image when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourage others to do the same. 20.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Casino Manager, VP of Casino Operations MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION LEVEL: High School diploma or equivalent is required. LANGUAGE: Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language. EXPERIENCE: Five years gaming experience in all gaming areas to include Slots, Keno, Table Games and Poker. Two years in a gaming supervisory/ leadership role. SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent guest service skills with the ability to make sound decisions and problem solve in a professional and timely manner. PHSYICAL DEMANDS ANDWORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to walk, stand, or sitfor long periods of time Ability to lift, move, push,pull items up to 40 lbs. Fine finger manipulation. Work environment may includesmoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels. Work may be performed indoorsand outdoors during special events. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Employee Gaming Registration and Alcohol Awareness Certification required.
