Job Title:Branch Banking Operations Assistant ManagerLocation:Sparks - MarinaWhat you'll do:As a Branch Operations Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of efficient, accurate, and professional service that defines a quality client experience. You will be responsible for supporting a team that builds and promotes strong client relationships while accurately completing banking transactions. One of your key responsibilities will be supporting the Branch Banking Operations Team in proactively identifying customer needs, recommending solutions to meet their needs, and appropriately resolving escalated customer inquiries.What we are looking for:

  • Responsible for supporting the Branch Operations Manager in promoting and building a comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer service experience. Assists in ensuring that the daily branch operations run smoothly and efficiently. Provides leadership, training, and guidance to operations staff and supports the completion of daily branch operational tasks. Supports and guides the Operations Team in the attainment of sales goals.
  • Assists the Branch Operations Team in resolving more complex customer and employee questions, ensures efficient daily, work flow, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and approving transactions within given authority levels.
  • Participates in instilling and maintaining a positive sales environment through education of the Bank's products and services, monitors and coaches staff in cross-selling and coordinating available resources for maximum results
  • Assists in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control through a branch operations review. Ensures compliance with established Bank policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.
  • May lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and developmentQualifications
    • A high school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of direct, related experience including Branch Banking Operations or other financial institutional experience
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
    • Intermediate to advanced project management and organizational skills; ability to create momentum, foster organizational change, and work with other members of senior management.
    • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
    • Occasional Travel may be required locallyCompensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $57,521.00 - $71,055.00 for Sparks, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
