Physical Therapist, you would be crucial to our mission because you
would improve patients lives by helping them regain mobility and
reduce chronic pain. On any given day, you could work to improve a
patients mobility after a total knee replacement or counsel a

business need. Both locations are within 15 minutes of the downtown

your time here. What would you do as a Physical Therapist?This
position focuses its time and effort on the following duties,
though others may be required:Plan, prepare, and carry out
individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain,
improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or
prevent physical dysfunction in patients;Review physicians referral
and patients medical records; Confer with patient and appropriate
medical practitioners to plan, implement, and assess the
intervention program; Identify and document goals, anticipated
progress, and plans for reevaluation;Test, measure and record
patients strength, motor development, functional capacity, sensory
perception, and respiratory and/or circulatory efficiency; Analyze
data and modify interventions as necessary to achieve anticipated
goals and expected outcomes;Direct, supervise, assess, and
communicate with physical therapist aides and other support
personnel;Provide educational information about physical therapy,
injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote health;Inform
patients and refer to appropriate practitioners when diagnosis
reveals findings outside physical therapy;Instruct patient and
family in use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers,
crutches, and canes as well as in treatment procedures to be
continued at home;Refer clients to community resources or
services;Discharge patient from physical therapy when goals or
projected outcomes have been attained; provide for appropriate
follow-up care or referrals;Maintain regular attendance and
punctuality to minimize impacts to clinic staffing
schedules;Provide customer service and patient care, maintain
confidentiality, and abide by HIPAA requirements. Work
EnvironmentThis position operates in a clinical environment.
Exposure to communicable diseases, biohazards, toxic substances,
and similar conditions is possible. Physical: The noise level is
usually moderate. Travel: May require up to 10% travel to other
clinic locations. What do you need to have to be considered?To be
successful in this role, you must have the following minimum
qualifications:Certifications/EducationDegree from an accredited
physical therapy program;Active/unrestricted Nevada Physical
Therapy license from Nevada State Board. Note: This position
requires the incumbent to obtain a current CPR certification within

an ideal candidate:Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS)
certification;Two years of experience in an orthopedic
