About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Sierra Medical Center. As an OR Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
• Address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Assess operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
• Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure.Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
  • At least one year Operating Room experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.What We Offer
