Role Overview: Naval Health Clinic Fallon is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Health Educator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and health education to our patient population. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, triage, monitoring, and providing emotional support, as well as developing and maintaining health education programs. Position Highlights:

• Competitive compensation with a pay rate of $35.14-$37/hr + $4.41/hr
• Monday through Friday schedule - No weekends required Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient education and professional care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
  • Document patient care and observations accurately.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive health education programs.
  • Perform a full range of nursing duties including triage, patient assessment, and execution of physician orders.
  • Make independent nursing decisions to plan and implement quality nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling related to patient care.
  • Maintain liaison with allied health professionals and community referral services.
  • Implement nursing care using current standards and maintain communications with professional organizations. Position Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (ACEN or CCNE).
    • Current unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
    • Minimum of one year of RN experience within the last two years.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in planning and implementing women's health educator programs and ambulatory nursing within the last three years.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems.
