offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. This
position performs a dual function, clinical and managerial.
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting,
performs disciplinary actions, and participates in hiring and
termination of staff. Communicates with physicians/Nurse
Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's
clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and
symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to
changes in condition or response to treatment. -Job
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary,
assessing current patient care situations, priorities and
needs.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that
optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of
medical/health care errors.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Director,
co-workers and physicians.
- Assists director/manager with staff education and competency
evaluation. Maintains documentation of these activities. Ensures

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Current NV State Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an
accredited program within one-year of employment or transfer into
supervisy role .
- Current BLS required.
- Current ACLS required (or must be able to obtain within
6-months).
- PALS certification may be required for specific departments .
(or must be able to obtain within six-months).
