Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/01/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Night shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 8:45 PM to 7:15 AM • 40 guaranteed hours per week • No call requirements • Nevada state RN license required prior to start date • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Minimum 2 years experience in Trauma OR setting required • Work in Level II Trauma OR with 18 operating rooms • Care for patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics • Perform procedures including trauma, neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, cranial procedures), Da Vinci Xi robotics, urology, vascular, open hearts, general surgery, trauma orthopedics, pediatrics, minimal plastics and ENT • Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers • Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed • Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment Facility: This major medical center is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds.
