Pediatric Hospitalist Permanent Full-Time Position Overview:
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a qualified, full-time Pediatric
Hospitalist to join our esteemed pediatric care team at Renown
Regional Medical Center. This opportunity offers an exceptional
environment to deliver high-quality inpatient pediatric care within
a Level II Trauma Center, supported by strong subspecialty services
and an academic affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno

favorable tax environment. Position Responsibilities: Provide
comprehensive inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward, managing
an average daily census of 16-18 patients. Conduct newborn nursery
examinations, ensuring optimal neonatal assessment and care.
Perform pediatric consultations within the Emergency Department,
collaborating with emergency physicians to deliver timely and
effective interventions. Work closely with a multidisciplinary
team, including subspecialists, intensivists, and nursing staff, to
coordinate patient care. Oversee care in the Pediatric Intensive
Care Unit (PICU), staffed by dedicated pediatric intensivists, for
critically ill children. Contribute to educational initiatives by
teaching pediatric residents and medical students, fostering the
next generation of physicians. Engage in an academic environment
through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of
Medicine. Ensure delivery of patient-centered, high-quality
pediatric care aligned with Pediatrix standards and best practices.
Maintain active medical licensure in the state of Nevada; residency
within the local area is required. Relocation assistance may be
provided. Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Pediatrics. Valid medical license to practice in Nevada. Excellent
clinical and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively
within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing
compassionate, patient-focused care. Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $190,000 to $230,000, commensurate with
