Exciting ChallengesSika's plant in Dallas, TX has been creating insulation solutions based on the latest building science. Our full line of high-quality, polyiso-based wall, roof and specialty insulation products for commercial, industrial and residential applications delivering maximum R-values and minimum environmental impact, with efficiency in installation, cost and design.Some of the exiting challenges that this position will encounter are as follows:The responsibilities include:Utilizing the Sales and Distribution module of SAP. Follow and remain proficient in procedures to enter and manage Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. This position will be responsible for servicing all accounts located in the West regionMonitor SAP generated back order lists, open billing lists, scheduled picking and shipping lists, etc., to fulfill and stay ahead of customer's orders and related needsPromptly answer questions from customers and sales representatives as they arise.Provide backup support and coverage for other Customer Service Representatives as directedPromptly answer phone calls and/or questions as they ariseFollow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect your work area or other company propertyPerform miscellaneous duties as assigned We Need Your SkillsThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:High School Diploma2-5 years of work experience in a similar positionThe candidate should have the following personal skills and abilities:Professional Aptitude with good problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skillsComputer literate (Windows Applications: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes email); and SAP SD knowledge Detail orientedGood follow up skillsCustomer service oriented with good communication skillsKnowledge of the construction/roofing industry is a plusAbility and willingness for occasional travel via car, airplane or trainIntroSika USA is one of the nation's top specialty chemicals companies with a leading position in the development and production of systems and solutions for building, construction, and automotive industries.
