Job Description:
- Administers day-to-day aspects of associate relations, records
maintenance, payroll, benefits, and special projects.
- Assists TAP with recruiting activities, conducting phone
screens and interviews, ensuring candidates have passed all
employment pre/post-screening processes when needed.
- Assists TAP With scheduling MSC participation in recruiting
events including on and off-site job fairs and on-campus
recruiting.
- Backup for New Associate Orientation sessions to educate new
hires on MSC policies and procedures as well as location-specific
policies.
- Provides benefits orientation sessions for associates becoming
eligible for MSC benefit packages.
- Administer FMLA and ADA leaves of absence, including providing
paperwork to associates, following up to ensure receipt of all
required information, and communicating leave status to associates
and supervisors.
- Assists HRBP in conducting accurate and timely investigations
and follow-up as it relates to associate relations issues.
- Partner with HRBB, managers and supervisors with evaluating
performance, attendance, and conduct issues with respect to
potential corrective action required.
- Conducts exit interviews and evaluates the data from these
interviews to determine possible areas for improvement.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of associate and other
sensitive information.
- Manages local Human Resources reporting and ensures reports are
distributed as necessary.
- Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the
company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC--------s
mission.
- Involvement in Engagement Committee
- Handles Kronos
- Data Entry of all reviews and Merit spreadsheet data roll
upParticipates in special projects and performs additional duties
as required.-- -Bachelor--------s Degree or the equivalent
experience is required. Major in Business or Human Resources
preferred.One year general human resources experience is required.
-- -Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office are
required. General knowledge of human resources principles and
practices is required. General knowledge of employment laws and
regulations is required.Associate relations and group presentation
skills are required. Excellent oral and written communication
skills are also required.A valid driver--------s license and the
ability for 5-10% local travel required.Occasional overnight travel
