Job Description Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION The Production Associate/ Operator is responsible for supporting daily operations throughout the door components manufacturing process. This role requires flexibility, cooperation, and a strong focus on safety. Associates rotate positions regularly to gain experience across multiple tasks, ensuring smooth production flow and high-quality output. Safe production practices are a core expectation, with Masonite striving to maintain a 0% safety incident rate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a variety of tasks including sweeping, cleaning, sorting, stacking, and assisting Machine Operators. Learn and support Machine Operator responsibilities as needed. Check product quality with care and attention for every order filled. Take ownership of assigned work areas and contribute to Total Quality Management. Support team goals by rotating across different production tasks. REQUIREMENTS No prior experience required. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. Safety toe shoes required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to lift up to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Physical stamina for walking, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, stretching, grabbing, pulling, pushing, and bending. Strong focus on safety around operating machinery.
