This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit; you will be responsible for the security and integrity of our systems that keep our jets flying. It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System(ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services. As critical members of the F35 Operations Team, all ALIS administrators must be able to:* Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access* This is an operational support role to active fighter units. Administrators must be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore) for extended periods of time dependent upon operational needs.* Capable of working various shift hours to include evening shifts and weekends to support customer mission requirements.* Candidates offered a position may be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam that is designed to ensure capability to deploy with our military customer, which may be to austere environments with limited access to medical care.A Day in the Life:As an ALIS Administrator with our F-35 ALIS team partnering with our customer, you will wear many hats which include system admin duties, data management duties, network admin duties and mission planning admin duties. ALIS Administrators are generally the first point of contact for customer inquiries, field any questions and/or concern and troubleshoot any reported problems. You will be assigned tasks in most ALIS administrative roles to further develop your skills and increase capabilities within the ALIS administrator role.* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:o Obtain a Subject Matter Expert status for the ALIS product suiteo Primary customer point of contact for technical itemso Training ALIS Administrators and users on the ALIS systemo Provide assistance/augmentation to local ALIS leadershipo Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipmento System/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoringo Laptop re-image, troubleshooting, account maintenanceo Installing system wide software, allocating mass storage space ando Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2 and engineerso Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysiso Coordinating extranet equipment installations with enterprise and local communications facilitiesBasic Qualifications:o Candidates must have a Secret securityclearance with investigation within the last 6 yearso Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hireo IT experience of any combination insystem/database/network administrationo Experience with three of the following:Powershell; Virtual Machines; DNS/DHCP;SQLPlus; RMAN; data import/export; Layers 2&3; firewalls; intrusion detectionDesired Skills:o Experience Troubleshooting Web Applicationso JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarityo Account Maintenance using Active Directory/Oracle/CRMo Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipmento Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V/ VmWare)o Knowledge of spanning technology in switcheso Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack componentso Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updateso Use of Splunk Log Aggregation and Dashboardo Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administratoro JBOSS Enterprise Application Platformo Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session datao Importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQLServer databaseso Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and softwareBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
