General Purpose and Scope

The Telesales Consultant is responsible to handle the inbound & outbound sales calls with a high close rate. Be able to effectively understand customers needs and transition the call into a successful sale with installation appointments. Can effectively locate consumer within the sales footprint and provided them with the best service for the area. Build the value and set expectations so that the customer understands the services they signed up for and the timeline of the installation. Effectively talk the consumer through the service agreement and get a verbal agreement at end of call. Sales goals will be provided on a monthly planning basis. Agent will be expected to perform with integrity and own the consumers experience through the first 90 days of the consumers tenure.? This position reports directly to the Telesales Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

  • Answer inbound calls with the ability to convert a sales call into a closed sale
  • Effectively cold call current subscriber base to inform on new products
  • Effectively cold call potential customers to sell product catalog
  • Ability to effectively set expectations from closing the sale to equipment delivery and or installation
  • Own the customer experience from answering the phone through the 90-day post install.
  • Effectively keep up with all promotions and training materials so that you are the expert when the customer calls in.
  • Ability to assist with customer basic tech support questions if they arise
  • Possesses an excellent understanding of retail sales, distribution, installation, and merchandising strategies
  • Actively participates in sales competitions and knows their local market
  • Be the expert on consumer and SMB for all product lines (Broadband, Wireless, and VoIP)
  • Effectively use and execute the mapping software to get consumers accurate latitude and longitude waypoints.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year sales or support experience
  • Strong positive phone skills
  • Ability to speak to a diverse audience
  • Effective ability to transition the call into a sale
  • Efficient personal time management
  • Effectively can meet or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Maintain and own customer experience
  • Ability to Travel for training and in person meetings
  • Ability to successfully retain virtual trainings

Desired Qualifications:

  • Call center experience
  • Working knowledge of billing and support systems as well as Microsoft Office suite
  • Thorough understanding of industry-wide wireless products and services
  • Bilingual
