Job Description:

This opening is intended to be a Full time position.


  • Ensure that the customers receive Parts and Component orders complete and on time.
  • Works closely with customers on Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects. Always looking for ways to improve processes, increase revenue, and minimize expenses. Manages a tracking sheet to show the history, value, and track progress.
  • Manage customer consignments by; conducting scheduled counts with customer, timely reconciling discrepancies, review inventory levels with customers, managing increases and decreases in inventory levels, manage obsolete inventory, insure that transfers are received timely and inventory is charged out promptly.
  • Works closely with Corporate and local inventory control to ensure that supporting branches have proper inventory to support the customer needs and availability requirements. Report any parts campaigns in advance to ensure that we have adequate time needed to bring orders in on a stock order.
  • Manages customer accounts to insure invoices are paid promptly, credits are taken, and disputes are resolved quickly.
  • Manage and provide guidance to the onsite parts associate.
  • Understands Business to Business (B2B) processes and is the main contact for any B2B needs.
  • Review customer discount programs annually with the Parts and Product Support Managers for assigned customers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of SOP's.
  • Communicate effectively and actively seek and provide feedback.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal and external customers.


  • Assist with parts pricing changes.
  • Assist with administration of Cat Marketing Programs.
  • Continually seek to increase knowledge of parts, components, equipment and services offered to enhance total department and company productivity.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Enable Cashman to achieve its objective of Safely Home. Everyone. Every Day. by promoting a positive safety culture and adhering to all company safety policies, procedures and practices.
  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Deliver Cashman's "Best Customer Experience" for all internal and external customers on a consistent basis.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.
  • Working knowledge of parts, components, freight and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and the general public.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
  • Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills including Excel and Access are preferred.
  • Achieve annual company goals of customer satisfaction, market dominance and profitability through leadership qualities demonstrated, timely employee feedback, and review the development of staff.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction through accurate, timely parts delivery and service.
  • Effectively work as a team member, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Achieve approved inventory levels and inventory accuracy metrics, consistently.


  • High School diploma, GED or trade school equivalent.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree and/or five (5) years related Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
