Are you a certified Facilities Management Professional and looking to move into a growing company and a rewarding industry? We have a great opportunity for you on our team! As a Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Operations Manager, you will develop and implement our strategic plan and vision for our facilities across the enterprise and coordinate the standardization of facilities in appearance and functionality. You'll institute facility operational best practices to influence a functional, safe, and efficient work environment, provide guidance and structure to facility team projects, ensure timely completion, budget accountability, and life cycle planning, oversee lease adherence, and review lease documentation. Additionally, you will also be participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental health and safety program and oversee facilities' maintenance operations of our buildings and property.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction in the development, execution and measurement of service standards to include the management of facilities teams consistent with company policies and readiness
  • Institute facility and construction best practices to influence a functional, safe, and efficient work environment in a cost effective and highly reliable manner
  • Lead teams of facilities personnel in development of knowledge, skills, and abilities to increase their personal and professional capabilities to better serve the company
  • Provide guidance and structure to facility team projects, insure timely completion, budget accountability, and life cycle planning
  • Serve as the focal point of and lead collaboration between corporate support entities (IT, Security, Safety, Risk, etc) and the facilities teams to insure smooth and continuous operations
  • Assume ownership of key planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for areas of responsibility; monitor financial performance through key indicators and succeed in achieving maximum results with budgeted resources
  • Lead facilities' maintenance operations of buildings and property with integration of processes within the organization to maintain and develop services that support and improve the effectiveness of our buildings in a measurable manner
  • Manage relationships with internal and external customers, and serve as a liaison between business units, as well as interpreting needs and integrating those into future plans
  • Direct efforts of standardization of facilities in appearance and functionality
  • Oversee lease adherence and review lease documentation for impacts to the business
  • Create and manage outsourced facilities service to insure consistent facilities data, and support across the company
  • Demonstrate expert level knowledge of a variety of facilities types (Hangar, Office, Industrial, etc) on owned, leased, or government controlled property
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental health and safety program in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations for corporate facilities
  • Act as Crisis Management Lead for SNC facilities in coordination with the Crisis Management Team
  • As necessary, manage all vendors and subcontracts and/or assist in the management with the local maintenance POC
  • Work cross functionally within the CRE Department to assist with overlaps and maintain team alignment
  • Oversee, recommend and implement any outsourcing programs, vendors and solutions necessary within the CRE Facilities realm
  • Process Owner for all CRE Facilities Management related documents, procedures and processes. In charge of analyzing all practices relating to the cost management, construction, maintenance and overall facility functions within the CRE Department

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Typically 3+ years of real estate or facility management
  • Typically 3+ years of managing facility maintenance teams across multiple locations
  • Experience with managing multi-site vendor contracts to appropriate KPIs
  • Extensive knowledge of facility systems with regard to installation, preventative maintenance, and regular maintenance
  • Experience with Commercial Leasing
  • Understanding of Corporate Real Estate Principles and lease administration
  • Knowledge of a variety of facilities types such as Office, Industrial, Industrial Flex, and/or Manufacturing  on owned, leased, or government-controlled property
  • Previous management experience
  • Identify and coordinate resources to ensure the required tools, processes, and training are available and effective
  • Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required
  • Certified as a Facilities Management Professional or ability to obtain an FMP certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
