As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must Haves:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
• Understands and has experience applying system engineering principles and practices
• Experience contributing to multi-disciplinary design and development teams without detailed instruction or guidance
• Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, decomposition, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
• Experience integrating a new/updated product into an existing system
• Experience performing design validation and performing requirement based verification via testing
• Experience with computer networking and avionics data busses
• Familiar with electronics troubleshooting - multimeters, oscilloscopes
• Proficient in Python, Matlab, C, and other programming languages
• Experience with Real-Time Operating System and embedded system debugging and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of computer graphics (OpenGL / Vulkan)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Languages you will be working with:

  • C++ Preferred:
    • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, such as Cameo NoMagic Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
    • Interest in avionics systems, drones, robotics, computer vision, control systems, statistics, geospatial intelligence, mathematics and/or computer networking
    • Experience with military or commercial airworthiness processes

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $106,400.80 - $146,301.09 SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
