Responsibilities
- Assist with transporting equipment or materials to their
appropriate destination.
- Loading and Unloading trucks. Generates Receipt Travelers,
verify parts received with vendor packing list, report any receipt
discrepancies to Purchasing and/ or Logistics for action.
- Ability to drive panel truck including backing up to loading
docks and/or use of liftgate.
- Use of loading dock, pallet jack, pallet rider, and reach truck
forklift to load, unload, and put away product.
- Fuel and clean truck as necessary.
- Approve all inventory investigations before presenting the
results for final approval and adjustment
- Train new inventory control associates
- Lead the cycle count and bay audit activities set forth by
management
Qualifications
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with shipping and packaging equipment.
- Familiarity with pallet banding equipment.
- Previous inventory control experience a must.
- Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force
occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or
constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise working
knowledge of parts flow and receiving procedures.
Education/Experience
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience driving a company vehicle.
- Experience in operating a forklift.
- Prior warehouse and shipping experience required.
- MRP experience a plus.
