WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

You will be front and center, hands-on and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 10 week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects within the Verizon Smart Cities Organization that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program. You will learn from the best minds in the industry and have a chance to enhance your product management knowledge in an environment that's dedicated to industry superiority.

The Smart Cities team at Verizon helps public-and private-sector planners increase economic development, drive engagement and promote sustainability with our suite of smart city solutions. Our portfolio of offerings includes people-first solutions to parking, traffic, lighting, and public safety.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU MAY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Analyze Smart City Platform market - key players, key technologies and use cases and driving factors.
- Explore Smart City Developer ecosystem - what developers exist, what are key use cases, and who engages the developers.
- Identify trends around data exchange - consider various initiatives driving data standardization in the industry.
- Explore and identify Data and API monetization possibilities in the smart cities space.
- Develop customer journey maps and define the customer experience through creation of product requirements.
- Manage your projects while constantly being challenged to generate smart solutions.
- Present and have exposure to senior leadership.
- Gain knowledge of daily business operations.
- Attend learning programs and training sessions.
- Participate in networking activities with other interns, professionals and business leaders.
