Employee Type:Full timeLocation:NV SparksJob Type:Supply Chain ManagementJob Posting Title:Operations Support CoordinatorJob Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Receives incoming inventory into ERP system and utilizes ERP system for inventory control and counts; enters all dailyUtilizes ERP system for inventory control and maintain a rotations cycle count system for all packaging materials and finished goods; ensure the production facility has adequate materials on hand while maintaining established inventory levelsCount all packaging and materials and maintain accurate count numbersComplete bulk bin/tank cutoffsIn conjunction with the plant leadership team, responsible for ordering of raw materials, packaging, and commodities from various suppliers for the plant; plan and execute purchase orders with vendors confirming price and deliveryCommunicate with vendors in the confirmation of orders, delivery dates, vendor claims and any inventory and materials related correspondenceWork with corporate purchasing to provide future requirements based on production outlook to support long range buying tacticsMaintain appropriate reorder points on materialsUpdate and send out forecast reports for ingredient usage and receivingCoordinate material requirements for new product rollouts and material version changes and run outsUtilize system generated reports or suitable spreadsheet creationsUnderstand basic functions of manufacturing operation and apply understanding to planning functionsIdentifies problems or bottlenecks in inventory management processes and resolves issuesControl and archive all paperwork for production material usageSupport production and warehouse departments by providing any information they may need about finishing goods, packaging, or other materialsSchedules inbound shipments and completes reconciliation of incoming goods and materialsSupports the implementation and monitoring of food safety and food quality standards, regulations and laws and records and documents according to procedures, notifying leaders if there are any concerns or opportunities for improvementOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing; Bachelor's Degree preferredTwo years of work experience in inventory control, materials requirement planning/production purchasing, preferably in food manufacturingTwo years of work experience with an ERP system; JDE experience preferredWorking knowledge of food safety and food quality standards and regulations such as SQF and environmental and safety regulationsCompetency in English language (read, write, speak); excellent written, oral, and listening skills.Knowledge of regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as FDA, OSHA, and EPARequires basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide combined with analytical skills used to track and trend data and be able to use that data to guide decisions and communications with associatesProficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to facilitate cross-functional teamsAbility to effectively present information to top managementAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
