Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Lead - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, will train, develop and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators as well as work closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to hire qualified candidates at the right time and at the right cost. Understanding business objectives, assessing strategic hiring needs, developing selection criteria, creating recruitment strategies to include diversity recruiting and managing searches through the recruitment life cycle, the Lead - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will engage hiring managers to ensure the Talent Acquisition team consistently achieves its goals.

The Lead - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading Talent Acquisition Partners in talent acquisition activities including corporate and field roles within Sierra Nevada Corporation. You will support our aggressive hiring goals and share our high performance culture, core values, and passion for innovation with each and every candidate. The selected candidate will develop and deliver recruiting strategies that ensures Sierra Nevada Corporation selects the very best candidate while providing an exceptional candidate experience for top talent through researching and sourcing channels and will build and sustain talent communities. As a client-facing Lead - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will partner closely with your employees, your Lead - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner peer and their employees, Talent Acquisition Leadership, HR, hiring managers and senior leadership to understand the hiring need, build targeted sourcing plans and work directly with the hiring managers' expectations along the way.

The talent strategy will include aligning TA to SNC's business imperatives, effective utilization of all TA tools, social recruitment platforms, and ATS to drive SNC's employment brand and attract top talent to the company.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the business along with HRBPs to identify and mitigate issues related to recruiting, lead and participate in recruiting process standardization, documentation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance the TA function.

You will be expected to develop strong relationships with senior leadership throughout the organization and help drive and influence results for the function. Partnering with HR and business leadership to identify emerging workforce trends, collaborating with stakeholders and consulting on options, exploring the market trends and best practices in executive recruitment and implementing appropriate best practices across the organization will be your keys to success.

Additionally, you will build sourcing strategies and influential relationships with hiring managers and job seekers; develop, implement and drive strategies that attract and recruit talent utilizing multiple tools and resources; manage quality, productivity and compliance with internal policies, EEO/diversity policies, as well as, federal and state employment and labor laws; and partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for leading, managing and developing the Talent Acquisition team members
  • Develop and deploy team recruiting/sourcing strategies that meet business needs
  • Manage team recruiting and selection processes
  • Design recruiting campaigns targeting leading industry talent
  • Responsible for building candidate database for future talent acquisition
  • Consult and partner with business leaders on pro-active sourcing strategies to support workforce planning
  • Integrate company core values in hiring and selection process
  • Continuous measurement and improvement of the enterprise talent acquisition process through recruiting metric collection, analysis and goal setting
  • Support specialized recruiting programs (Military Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion, etc.)
  • Support oversight of vendor labor resources
  • Manage TA KPIs and share related reporting and analytics and share insights with all stakeholders
  • Review and support of OFCCP compliance
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Assist on TA/HR projects as required
  • Conducts benchmark research and implements recruiting best practices in the industry
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure SNC is utilizing leading edge strategies to attract top talent. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
    • Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours
    • Other duties as assigned COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)
      • Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc.
      • Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
        • Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, as defined by management

          • Requires a BA/BS in Related Field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
          • 6+ years experience in full cycle Talent Acquisition field required, with preference given for A&D industry experience
          • Prior management and proven leadership with a minimum of 1 year experience managing employees required
          • Demonstrated understanding of staffing standard operating procedures, guidelines and legal requirements as they apply to compliance in employment practices and applicant tracking is required
          • Understanding of DOD recruitment practices and requirements is a plus
