We are seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and at least 6 years of relevant experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to develop, status and analyze integrated master schedules to support the design and creation of the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow. What to look forward to:As a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to prepare, develop and coordinate our integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet our program objectives and ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across the enterprise. You'll be responsible for tracking plans and schedules, performing risk analysis, identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts utilizing Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques. You'll evaluate the level of schedule compliance and identify reasons for completion shortfalls.At SNC?s Electronic & Information Systems (EIS) team we bring together technology and innovation to develop, produce and manufacture a range of products from automated landing systems and precision approach systems for aircraft carriers to?electronic warfare and translation systems.   • Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs.
  • Oversees and coordinates the administrative/operational aspects of ongoing projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
  • Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.
  • Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
  • May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects, missions, and programs.
  • Develop, track and update schedules; facilitate resource leveling; validate remaining work; identify and resolve critical path conflicts; analyze impacts to schedule of any proposed changes.
  • Handling multiple projects at one time and must be able to prioritize tasks, integrate data, and be focused on achieving mission results.
  • Interface with various teams and must be able to coordinate schedule reviews and updates.
  • Coordinate routine integrated master schedule (IMS) meetings with Program, Operations, Engineering, Management as well as Customer Representatives
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point for documentation of deliverables, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Recommend and develop schedule management solutions, processes and procedures to improve the reporting system.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

      • Requires a BA/BS in Related Field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
      • 6+ years? experience
      • Exceptional planning and organizational skills to maintain overall integrity of program plans
      • Effective problem solving skills
      • Effective multi-tasking skills to handle multiple impacts to the program plan simultaneously
      • Strong math skills and the ability to make precise calculations
      • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
      • Strong oral and written communication skills
      • Ability to pay close attention to detail
      • Ability to prioritize tasks, integrate data, and be focused on achieving mission results
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to coordinate schedules and operational activities efficientlyPreferred:
        • Program Planning and Production Scheduling Experience
        • Critical Path Analysis Experience
        • WBS Development
        • Understand How to Decompose Work
        • Knowledge and Experience with Engineering Design Concepts
        • Knowledge and Experience with Schedule Health Analysis (ex: DCMA 14 pt Assessment)
        • Knowledge and Understanding of Schedule Performance
        • Resource Loading / Planning / Levelling
        • Knowledge and Experience Baselining Program Schedules
        • Knowledge and Understanding of IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
        • Knowledge and Understanding of MIL-STD-881-C and NDIA-IPMD-PASEG-v3
        • Knowledge and Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
        • Experience with Rolling Wave Planning
        • Experience with Baseline Change Control
        • Experience / Trained as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
