Job Description:

SUMMARY:As a member of the Total Rewards team, reporting to the Director of HR Operations and Total Rewards, this position is responsible for the day to day operation of the compensation programs to ensure the organization has competitive pay and recognition practices that align with SNC s strategic goals and business direction.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Supports compensation projects from design through execution, including modeling, project planning, communicating, and training.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to leadership.
  • Implements new and revised compensation programs (non-variable and variable), policies and procedures to be responsive to the business goals and competitive practices.
  • Manages the administration of the reward and recognition programs that are designed to support the employee experience the overall total rewards strategy and compensation philosophy.
  • Provides administrative support and guidance for annual compensation programs, including salary and merit increases, equity and benchmarking reviews, and promotions.
  • Partners with HR colleagues in the job evaluation process and oversee review of job descriptions, market pricing of jobs and internal leveling.
  • Develops leader and employee compensation communication, training and educational materials.
  • Analyzes market data to assess competitiveness on base and total cash compensation, this include participating in various market surveys, as well as, compensation integration for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conducts market salary analysis that includes review of structure midpoint differentials between levels and make adjustments if needed to ensure structures supports career movement within job families and across functions.
  • Consults and advises Leadership, TA and HRBPs to make compensation recommendations and resolve compensation issues using a data-driven approach.
  • Monitors compensation practices to ensure they are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc.).
  • Participates in professional compensation organizations and networking groups for industry best practice.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
    • Reviews data for accuracy and completion of input, and verifies output
    • Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours
    • Other duties as assignedCOMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)
      • Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
        • Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, as defined by management

          • BS/BA in related field. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
          • 6+ years of related experience.
          • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
          • Knowledge of relevant U.S. laws and regulations related to compensation programs (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, etc.)
          • Excellent planning and project management skills and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously.
          • Experience in compensation with emphasis on development and implementation from start to finish of companywide compensation programs and processes.
          • Demonstrated ability to team with other departments and subject matter experts to deliver collaborative and successful outcomes on complicated issues
          • Clear, concise, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
          • Strong business orientation and the ability to understand business issues and their interrelationship with compensation.
